About Us

StrongFitKids is a children’s fitness program created to be fun, inclusive, and engaging. The program is designed for pre-schoolers with the intention of getting kids active. By incorporating movement at a young age, chances are kids will stay active into adulthood. SFK offers 15 - 30-minute sessions that include lots of fun fitness activities and games. At SFK we understand that ensuring your children get enough exercise is critical to their physical and emotional well-being, and the importance of educating children on the benefits of exercise in a fun and engaging way. The sessions are run as incursions at early learning centres across Victoria, and the children get to experience comradery in a safe and inclusive environment.

Meet Shereen (director/founder)

Movement inspires me, it gives me a sense of purpose. I’ve been active all my life, throughout school and university, and my career.   I originally started off teaching dance to children whilst I was studying, and over time I become passionate about fitness and well-being and particularly in helping others to reach their own personal goals and make positive changes.   After working with many clients as a fitness coach, it really became apparent to me that a healthy mindset with fitness and exercise needs to start from a young age. I will never forget the very first fitness session I did with children and the joy, engagement, and energy the kids demonstrated. This was the key motivation behind creating StrongFitKids, I wanted to ensure that I could reach as many children as possible and give them an opportunity to not only participate but learn to love exercising and understand the benefits it brings.

I am deeply dedicated to championing good health and overall well-being. I firmly believe that maintaining an active lifestyle not only contributes to physical health but also plays a crucial role in nurturing positive mental well-being. Understanding the significance of making exercise enjoyable, educational, and engaging, I find great joy in creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. By seamlessly integrating elements of play, movement, and music, my goal is to keep children motivated and enthusiastic about staying active. It's a privilege to work with children, instilling a love for physical activity from an early age and laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.

I hold Accreditation as a Health Coach, hold a Certificate 4 in Training, and a Diploma for Teacher Assistants.

I am bringing StrongFitKids to the Southwest of WA - based in Margaret River Region.

We are running an 8-week program for 2-4 year old children, commencing 5th February 2025.

Why is fitness important for your kids

At StrongFitKids we are passionate about achieving fitness and health through exercise, and we have the knowledge and experience on how to encourage kids to get active and participate in the sessions.  The sessions involve lots of fun activities which have been designed to get the children interested and curious about the benefits of exercising, increase their heart rates, familiarise themselves with certain exercises and techniques, build their confidence and most of all have fun.
